Important Info For Race Day!

*All teams must have 2-5 members.

*If one or more of your teammates cannot make it on race day, please let the Get A Clue staff know when you check in.

*There are no refunds allowed, but you may transfer your registration to another person - BUT, the substitute team member must check in and fill out new registration/waiver on or before race day!

*Team members must stay together at all times during Get A Clue. Your team will not be allowed to begin a challenge until all members of your team are at the location.

*All challenges must be completed correctly before points will be awarded.  If the challenge is not completed, no points will be given.

*Teams may choose to skip as many of the locations/challenges as they wish.  However, the more locations the team goes to, the more opportunity for points a team will have.

*This is a running/walking race.  No transportation of any kind may be used. Stay on your feet!  (No public transportation, bikes, skateboards, taxis, cars, etc.)

*Teams may go to locations/challenges in any order.  There is no specific route.  Strategy and perhaps luck will keep your route shorter.

*Teams may use maps, smart phones, and other people for assistance in finding locations, solving clues, etc.  However, Get A Clue staff and volunteers will not be allowed to help you.

*Follow all traffic/pedestrian laws and be safe!

*The race course will close at 11:30 a.m. Teams must return to the finish line at or before this time.  Late teams will incur a penalty of 1 point for every minute late (based on the official clock.)  Teams returning after 11:45 will not have their points counted or results recorded.

*Day of Race Check-In and Registration opens at 8:45 a.m. at Horning Hall - Clackamas County Event Center

*Winners will be based on the total number of points earned. Points are earned by completing challenges and finding specified objects at various locations. This will be combined with the amount of time spent on the course, if needed.  In other words, if 2 teams have the same number of points, the team that finished first will be ahead in the point ranking.
